New Update for Dark and Darker Enhances Gameplay Experience

This month, the medieval action RPG Dark and Darker has entered early access, accompanied by a new update that brings several improvements to the game Dark And Darker Gold. Although the PC game is not currently available on Steam, players can access it through Ironmace Games’ own game launcher, Blacksmith.

Previously, Ironmace Games faced accusations from Nexon, another game developer, alleging that Dark and Darker was developed using stolen code. However, a police search found no evidence to support these claims. Despite this, Nexon issued a cease and desist order and the game was removed from Steam.

The recent update addresses various bug fixes and gameplay issues. These include the resolution of bugged locations that allowed players to step out of the map, as well as glitches with doors and treasure chests that would trap players. Additionally, the anti-hack system has been improved, minimizing the presence of cheaters in the game.

One notable change that players will appreciate is the increased drop rate for rare loot. The drop rate for Uncommon items has been overall enhanced, and players now have the chance to obtain Epic items from any chest in the game. Moreover, the likelihood of finding Epic items in specific chests such as Lions Head, Ornate, and Golden Chests has also been increased.

These updates aim to provide a better gaming experience for Dark and Darker players. Although the developers intend to bring the game back to Steam in the future, for now, players can enjoy the game through Blacksmith.
