Begin by marking the area where you intend to install the pavers. Remove any existing vegetation, debris, or old paving materials. Excavate the paver installation area to the desired depth, allowing space for the base and pavers. A depth of 6 to 8 inches is generally suitable.Lay a base of gravel evenly across the excavated area. Use a tamper to compact the gravel, creating a stable foundation for the pavers.
