With dozens of leagues published for Path of Exile, the majority of them have found their way. Most leagues are added through a random prospect of spawning in Maps to the core game around a chance. While this was fine for a few leagues, we're now at the stage where two to POE currency trade three events can happen in one Map at the same time.

Every Delirium experience drops shards that can craft this Map after 100 are all combined. Similar to leagues such as"Breach" and"Legion," 100 splinters will create a dedicated Map that will store a difficult encounter that, when successfully completed, will reward a huge quantity of loot. Unlike those leagues,"Delirium" just has one endgame Map to perform instead of Breach's four or Legion's 5. This may result in Simulacrum runs becoming very boring after repeated runs. The loot might also be underwhelming within this Map as well, which may further exacerbate this situation.

The drops monsters have themselves might be underwhelming while splinters are very likely to be plentiful in Delirium experiences. Some leagues in Path of Exile added vast amounts of critters that contributed to Map drops and currency gains. Leagues that focused more on bosses like"Bestiary" were disliked because there was little to compensate for cheap POE currency the deficiency of money drops every Map. Even though"Delirium" doesn't appear to have an problem with monster quantity, a lack of good rewards from such creatures could result in players skipping experiences entirely, especially if the Simulacrum Map is not rewarding enough.

Every league in Path of Exile has pushed the game's visual quality and technical operation. It was not unusual to have the game briefly freeze in the previous few leagues because of the sheer amount of things happening. With"Delirium," the range of enemies on the screen in addition to the dense fog could result in significant performance slowdown for most people's PCs.
